By accessing or utilizing ZapMeals, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue your use of our platform immediately.
1. License and Scope of Use
ZapMeals grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our platform for personal, non-commercial meal scheduling. Users are forbidden from scraping recipes, deploying automated bots, or attempting to breach our system security protocols.
2. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations
We offer premium tiers (Premium and Family memberships) processed securely through Stripe:
- Recurring Billing: Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time through your Billing Portal.
- Brand Portal Ad Wallets: B2B partners funding their advertising campaign wallet are responsible for compliance with ad policy guidelines. Unused campaign ad balances can be requested for refund minus administrative gateway fees.
3. AI Coach Disclaimer (Health and Diet)
Important Medical Disclaimer: The nutritional calculations, recipes, streaks, and cooking instructions generated by our Chef Kai AI Coach are for informational purposes only. ZapMeals is not a certified dietitian or medical professional. Always consult a physician before starting any diet or fitness program.
4. Limitation of Liability
ZapMeals is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that service will be completely uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use our platform or grocery shopping integrations.
5. Copyright Policy & DMCA Designated Agent
If you believe that any recipe content, meal scanner image, or ad materials hosted on ZapMeals infringe your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our platform (e.g. specific recipe ID or image URL).
- Your contact info (address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized.

6. Governing Law and Changes to Terms
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of modifications indicates your acknowledgement and approval of the revised terms.
